Digital Research Service

The University supports digital health research through its interdiscplinary team of specialists at the Digital Research Service (DRS), incorporating the Advanced Data Analysis Centre (ADAC). Areas of expertise include data analysis, bioinformatics, research software engineering.

Tissue Directory and Coordination Centre

This national biobank directory connects researchers with tissue samples and data. The Tissue Directory is managed by the University of Nottingham, in colllaboration with UCL, and is the UK's only register of sample collections that covers multiple diseases and allows searching based on age, gender, disease classification, sample type and available datasets.

Health Data Research UK

The University and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust play key roles in Health Data Research UK (HDRUK) the national institute for health data science.

We are leading CO-CONNECT, a multi-million pound research project to help scientists across the UK to access the data they need more easily to help develop potential therapies and treatment for COVID-19.
