Welcome to the Centre for Healthcare Technologies
The Centre for Healthcare Technologies (CHT) is a unique collaboration between The University of Nottingham and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. Working with all stakeholders, we address major healthcare challenges through technology innovations, creating a pathway from science through to clinical application with the aim of rapidly translating scientific discoveries into healthcare.
The CHT brings together and integrates the capabilities of healthcare researchers from across the University, in collaboration with clinicians, businesses, patients and other stakeholders.
CHEATA provides a one-stop shop for developers of medical devices; offering guidance, advice and expertise over the complete translation path into healthcare.
The CHT offers an exciting programme of training and job opportunities including MSc programmes, PhD opportunities and Fellowships.
CHT won the award for 'Developing partnerships to improve outcomes' at the NHS England Chief Scientific Officer's awards. Co-Director Professor Dan Clark collected the award from HRH Princess Royal and CSO Professor Sue Hill.
