Sensing and imaging

We are developing a wide range of sensing and imaging technologies for improved diagnostics, detection and monitoring of clinical signs. These are able to provide clinicians and patients with valuable insights into a person’s health and how the body is behaving and responding to treatment.

From optical fibre sensing to electrochemical sensing, from wearables to surgical tools, our sensing technologies can measure different signs and biomarkers in vivo and in vitro.

Tumour identification

From our world-leading MRI capabilities to biophotonics, our imaging technologies are creating a window into the body to see different features at different scales and with different contrasts.
